Envicool won the bid for China Telecom's flexible DC cabin centralized procurement project with the first share!

Recently, Envicool won the bid for the centralized procurement project of China Telecom's flexible DC Cabin (2024-2025). The project will purchase a total of 3200 sets of flexible DC Cabin, involving 5 types of DC cabin models. Envicool has won the first share!

It is reported that this centralized procurement project is the largest scale centralized procurement project for China Telecom's computing power infrastructure, doubling the scale of the previous round of centralized procurement, which means that the construction of computing power infrastructure will be further improved.

As a provider of precision temperature control and energy-saving solutions and products, Envicool has consistently won a large share of bids in major operator procurement projects. From 2019 to 2023 alone, a large proportion of China Telecom's 3 centralized procurement projects, as well as China Mobile's 7 centralized procurement projects and China Unicom's 2 centralized procurement projects, have been won.

The winning bid for the Envicool DC cabin adopts a modular design, consisting of a network cabinet, a universal structural framework and enclosed components (including skylights, channel doors, cable trays, etc.), inter column air conditioning, power column cabinets, fire linkage interfaces, local security (access control, video) and local monitoring devices, and other modular infrastructure to form a closed cold (hot) channel IT equipment cabin. It can achieve modular rapid assembly and delivery. It has the characteristics of flexible configuration, safety and reliability, high efficiency and energy saving, and intelligent operation and maintenance.

Envicool DC cabin achieves the decoupling between network cabinets and structural components, allowing for the removal of any cabinet that can be replaced with inter column air conditioning or other types of cabinets. With flexible expansion and modular design, the expansion and relocation time can be reduced by 30%.


The product is designed with a 2N system architecture with redundant core components and reliable system control; and without condensation under 10% light load, reliable environmental control; owing a complete set of environmental and power monitoring equipment to enhance customer data security.

Adopting a closed airflow channel to avoid mixing of hot and cold airflows and improve the cooling efficiency inside the module, each micro module can configure its own power consumption to meet the needs of high heat density data centers. Meanwhile, adopting precise control can further reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency.


Through 3D and 2D visualization management, the overall layout of the DC cabin is displayed in real-time, and the PUE, power distribution load rate, cooling load rate, U-slot occupancy rate, cumulative power consumption, and other real-time monitoring of the cabin are carried out. And adopting multiple alarm methods, real-time alarm makes operation and maintenance easier.
